Research Focus

My research background includes understanding fetal nutritional, fetal hypoxia/hypoxemia and also developmental programming of adult onset diseases. I have more than 25 years of experience directing an independent research program studying premature infants, infants of diabetic mothers, those with intrauterine growth restriction, those in certain social and demographic risk groups, and now those born to women with obesity during pregnancy.
