Research Focus

The Laboratory for Endocrinology, Aging and Disease (LEAD) focuses on understanding the endocrinology of aging as elaborated upon in ‘The ReproductiveCell Cycle Theory of Aging’. Research examines the pivotal role of reproductive hormones in regulating embryogenesis, maintenance of adult tissues and age-related diseases, and the translation of these basic findings into therapies and diagnostic/prognostic tests.
