Research Focus:

My lab focuses on the mechanistic intersection between bariatric surgery, metabolism, and aging. Using complex surgical models in mice, we explore how bariatric surgery mitigates metabolic disease, obesity-associated organ dysfunction, and age-related illness. The lab’s overarching goal is to uncover novel targets to treat obesity and age associated illness.
